This is a few days old, but better late than never...

A new release of my webupdate script is available.
I've fixed a bug related to $SIG{ALRM}.

I ditched the old and unsupported CuteNews in favor of Fusion News
CuteNews where giving me PHP troubles, so I figured I could a as well switch out the whole application instead of trying to find a fix...
